Welcome to Greensburg Salem High School's new web portal! The website is loaded with relevant, important, and timely information for all of the members of the Golden Lions' community.
The faculty, staff and administration at the High School believe that "Effort Creates Ability." To that end, we are committed to providing relevant and meaningful instruction through the use of best practices and the use of technology as a tool to connect students with information in a global society. Our commitment is to work with students to ensure that when they graduate from Greensburg Salem School District they have the knowledge, skills, understanding and insight to be successful citizens in a world that continues to evolve and change. Many of the careers for which we are preparing students do not exist yet, thus the importance to developing and strengthening creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication, as well as information literacy skills.
I am very proud of our continued success as a school district. It is through collaboration between parents, teachers and students that we will continue to achieve success that prepares graduates for a competitive world. We are growing Future Ready experiences by engaging students in Internships and Apprenticeships, as well as engaging them in career exploration and experiences while in high School.
In order to meet the needs of our community, it is important to develop positive communication among the various members of the learning community. The web portal is designed with parents, students, and community stakeholders in mind. Through the web portal, parents can access information on students' needs, special programs, athletic events and activities, as well as important dates and times for upcoming school events.
