At Greensburg Salem High School we take great pride in our caring, compassionate, and dedicated staff.  These innovative individuals see their role in your child’s development as more than a job, but rather a way of life.  It is with a vision of family in mind that I would like to take the opportunity to encourage each of you to work alongside our staff as parents/guardians in your child’s best interest.  We are committed to fostering a diverse and collaborative culture as we work together to ensure that our future community members are provided multiple opportunities and avenues for success, not only educationally, but emotionally and socially as well.

At GS we pride ourselves in our steadfast belief in the growth mindset for students as they work toward their post graduate goals.  We believe that ALL students have the ability to grow and learn from their development of meaningful relationships and connections amongst their peers, teachers, and administrators.  The team at GSHS carries out our district mission
that we will educate every child to be a productive and responsible citizen ready to serve the communities of their future.  This includes believing that all students can achieve at a very high level in an area of their choosing through exposure to a wide range of curricular resources and technologies to best meet their needs.  We also know that encouraging students and staff to take risks while using current educational best practices will best prepare our students for their future and that life’s best lessons often come from overcoming adversity or failures.

I am hopeful that you will find that I am always open to discuss any issue that may arise with your child.  I am confident that you will also find our staff to be open and honest as we work cooperatively to make your child’s experience here at GSHS one of growth and discovery.
